Once again we had beautiful weather, a perfect venue and fabulous owners and dogs. We had owners from the Indianapolis area and from as far away as Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky.

We want to thank all our members and volunteers for making this day possible and extend a special thanks to Indy Pit Crew for participating. All of their dogs passed with flying colors!

Also, our appreciation to the Southport Masonic Lodge for making their facility available for this event.

The Hoosier Rottweiler Club is proud to offer this opportunity for owners and their dogs to achieve the American Temperament Test certification. We’ll keep you posted on plans for next year.

Vincent's ready for Halloween!

Summer is behind us and Fall is here.  The Hoosier Rottweiler Club and its members have been busy with herding, showing, and presenting our breed in numerous events including Meet the Breed and our annual Canine Good Citizen and Temperament Test.

Vincent the Rottweiler wants to wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween and hopes everyone gets lots of doggie cookies in their Trick or Treat bags!

He also wants to remind everyone that chocolate is not an appropriate Trick or Treat goody for dogs.

This event is held at the Muncie Fairgrounds on Wheeling Avenue from 9:00 to 3:00 and is held in conjunction with the AKC approved dog shows sponsored by the Anderson and Muncie Kennel Clubs.  There will be food, vendors and dogs of all shapes and sizes. 

Please bring your family to vist with us and meet our representatives of this wonderful breed.

Please note:  Due to space limitations,  only dogs entered in the dog show or participating in this event are allowed on the grounds so please leave your four-legged family members at home in the air conditioning.

The dogs performed beautifully and exhibited great skill and patience.  We want to thank all of our exhibitors for bringing their talented dogs to our trial.  We are making plans for the corresponding weekend in 2011 so mark your calendar!

Our gal “Keeper”  is letting everyone know that she’s thrilled that her favorite season is about to burst with bloom!

Keeper is making sure that she helps to spread the Joy of  Spring!

We’re really excited for Mel and his new owner.  Mel has also passed his Canine Good Citizen Test as well as the ATTS test!  Go Mel!
