Legislation

The Hoosier Rottweiler Club advocates for strong, fair and enforceable dog laws that protect the public health and safety and ensure the welfare of ALL dogs.

Our club is adamantly opposed to any form of breed-specific legislation, which is not only a failed policy in the prevention of dog bites, and unfairly discriminates against dogs and dog owners based solely on looks, and not behavior or deeds.

The Hoosier Rottweiler Club is aligned in its opposition to BSL with our parent club, the American Rottweiler Club, as well as the Centers For Disease Control and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

You can help stop BSL and other anti-pet laws by staying tuned to our website for legislative updates and alerts, and making your voice heard by writing, calling and emailing your elected representatives.
